Description

The Turley Backboard Pad is a multipurpose gel pad that can be used on a backboard, clam, or Stokes Basket, as well as under a patient on a gurney, or even under a splint.  The non-skid surface can assist with holding the patient in place once they have been placed on the pad.  

Turley Backboard Pads help alleviate the potential for pressure points that can later turn into ulcers (bed sores) especially in the geriatric population.  These pads also have the ability to be heated or cooled according to a patient’s needs.  This helps provide improved care, as well as aid in the treating of hypothermia and hyperthermia.

There are no additional attachments necessary.
