The unique wrap-around design of the Hoover Headblock provides support and padding all around the patient’s head, while still offering ample visual and tactile access to the C-spine and ears. The high, wide, triangular supports on each side allow you to insert your hands for stabilization during application, and do not require raising the patient’s head. Two wide foam strips allow you to safely secure your patient to the board without causing skin irritation when you remove the tape. For pediatric application, cut off the foam strips and add as necessary to retain support while still framing the ears. Cardboard headblock is treated with a water repellent finish. Assembly and application instructions are printed on each headblock, and are shipped folded in a compact shrink-wrapped package.
