The Curaplex HALO XL Trauma Dressing is an oversized occlusive dressing designed primarily to cover large blast wounds. The HALO XL is an excellent occlusive dressing for large abdominal wounds, peppering chest wounds associated with IED blast injuries, and secondary blast injuries (SBIs) as well as securing other wound dressings. It was specifically developed for casualties with excessive bleeding, heavy perspiration, or very wet and extreme environments.

The Curaplex HALO XL features a highly aggressive hydrogel adhesive, enabling it to conform and adhere to all contours of a patient’s body, even when moisture, fluids, or blood are present. The unique packaging has four notched corners for easy opening and a large pull tab that facilitates easy, quick application. The HALO XL Trauma Dressing performs without loss of adhesion in extreme temperatures and is used by many military and law enforcement services domestically and internationally.
