The Bariatric Equalizing Abdominal Restraint (BEAR) is an innovative product that attaches to conventional ambulance cots and longboards to accommodate and stabilize the large abdominal mass of a bariatric patient.

The BEAR is made from top quality high-grade materials that are chemical resistant, UV resistant, and may be washed with soap and water. The mesh fabric has a bursting strength of 536 psi. The 1.5″ frame straps have a tensile strength of 750 lbs., and the 2″ abdominal straps have a tensile strength of 1,200 lbs.  The total weight of the BEAR with storage bag is 4.4 lbs.
