Simultaneous or independent operation of the pulse oximeter and CO2 detector is possible. Single use disposable airway adapters are low cost and very easy to use. Drop and vibration tested, the 9840 Series is compact and operates up to 90 hours with 6 AA Alkaline batteries. The easy-to-read visual displays indicate approximate changes in levels of exhaled CO2 on a breath-by-breath basis, oxygen saturation level, pulse rate, and pulse quality. The 9840 Series is compatible with the full range of Nonin Pulse Oximeter Sensors for all patient applications. Clean the unit by simply wiping it down with mild detergent and a damp cloth. The 9840 Series comes with Pulse Oximetry and CO2 sensors and boasts a 3 year warranty.
