This rugged alternative to standard wooden short boards is manufactured from high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE). The Ultra Short Board is free of seams, voids, and plugs, making it incredibly easy to clean. Oversized handholds allow for gloved firefighters’ hands to easily fit into the provided space. Offset composite pins are located in the lower third of the handhold, keeping the composite pin out of the way when lifting patients.
