Physio-Control Lifepak CR Plus AED, Automatic (Re-certified)

CHARGE-PAK battery/pad combination has only one expiration date making maintenance easy

Description

The Lifepak CR Plus AED is designed for minimally trained rescuers in commercial and public settings who are often the first person at the scene of a sudden cardiac arrest.  The portable medical device is lightweight (4.5 lbs.), water resistant, and incorporates the latest ADAPTIV biphasic technology, which automatically adjusts energy based on the SCA victim’s specific needs.  The device has the capability to escalate to an industry-leading 360 joules when required.

The device stores ECG data for wireless transmission through an infrared IrDA port to a personal computer.  This eliminates the need for data cards.

The operating simplicity of this device allows minimally trained rescuers to turn the device on and apply the Quik-PAK electrode pads to the victim’s bare chest.  The device is available in two model options: semi-automatic and automatic.  Both models assess the person in sudden cardiac arrest with the fully automatic model delivering a shock only it if determines a heart needs it, with no action required from the rescuer.  The semi-automatic model analyzes the heart’s rhythm and if a shock is required, an audible command will tell the rescuer to push a button to deliver the shock.

The Lifepak CR Plus is easy to own and maintain performing automatic self-tests weekly and monthly.  The electrodes and battery CHARGE-PAK allow for synchronized replacement.

This device is the choice of more EMS units globally than any other brand because the Lifepak CR Plus uses the same electrodes as other LIFEPAK devices.
